Episode 6- Drumming in seclusion on an oyster lease
This podcast covers a late 90’s two week self imposed drumming retreat in complete isolation, with no media or reading material available. This retreat was based on the Indian tradition the Chilla. Paul discusses his experience living on a barge on a small island off the west coast of Vancouver Island. Discussion goes from; living next to otters, the sensations that come from 15+hours a day of drumming, and what it does to the body and mind. Paul goes into the prep, inspiration and support along the way.
