The Jawshop Recording Studios located in two hours North of Toronto in Ontario, Canada include an old-school recording studio situated in an 1850's barn. Equipped with wood heat, vintage gear and performance-based recording facilities, including a custom restored 1959 Airstream trailer.

The barn was built in 1854 from wood milled by-the-then local saw mill.

There are essentially two main tracking rooms and an amp/ vocal booth.

The 1959 twenty-four foot Tradewin Airstream has been renovated with a tracking room, a curtained train-berth double bed, and a ‘‘control’’ room. It is a 4-season off-grid [wood heat and battery bank/ solar] caravan with multi in-wall XLR cables, equipped with a 8 channel 150ft XLR snake, enclosed Yamaha NS10s and Mackie CR3 monitor speakers that offer two cozy listening environments.  It has 8 fully screened windows to keep the bugs out.

Take a quick two and a half minute tour of the Jawshop Studios.
